The Opportunity

This position oversees daily treasury operations, including cash flow management, bank account oversight, and accounting tasks, ensuring sufficient liquidity for organizational needs. The role involves collaborating with the VP of Finance and the Financial Controller to facilitate effective financial strategies, reporting, and overall accounting functions.

Key Job Responsibilities

Treasury
  • Accountable for the daily cash operations, monitoring the company's cash flow daily.
  • Ensure sufficient liquidity to meet the organization's operational needs
  • Oversee bank accounts, overview credit cards management, understand and validate bank reconciliations
  • Treasury month-end closing function
  • Manage liquidity, cash flow, and working capital through effective cash flow forecasting/modeling partnering with Finance and Business leaders.
  • Ensure regular and accurate treasury reporting to senior management
  • Ensure treasury best practices with the help of Finance Management or Global Corporate
  • Bank relationship facilitation at the oversight of the VP of Finance
Internal Control
  • Manage SAP new/existing/ expired users authorization requests or issues as needed
  • Management of the release strategy as needed
  • Providing required SAP information and training as needed to new users
Other accounting functions
  • Support completing the annual audit
  • Lease module and tracking
  • Oversee fixed assets
  • Adhoc finance projects
  • Training across the company where/when appropriate
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA is a plus
  • At least 4+ years of relevant accounting experience preferred
  • At least 1+ years of leading finance and accounting professionals preferred
  • Advanced Excel and overall computer skills. SAP experience is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • General understanding of ASC 842 preferred
  • Detail-oriented, with the ability to identify all cost elements within often complex requests for proposals.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple firm deadlines in a busy environment.
  • Analytical skills with attention to detail and capability to work with large data files
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective stakeholder engagement.
  • Ability to work both independently and/or with a direct/indirect staff with minimal supervision
  • Ability to respond quickly to changing business dynamics
  • Energetic, hands on, and self-starter approach with a strong attention to detail.
  • Strong work ethic with the flexibility to put in extra hours when needed
