Electrophysiology Program Coordinator

About the Role:

  • Coordinate procedures with medical device representatives and ensure seamless execution of electrophysiology procedures.
  • Collaborate with the Department Director to oversee and coordinate all aspects of the EP program.
  • Maintain billing compliance and ensure accurate documentation of procedures.
  • Responsible for department workflow and completion of ordered procedures.
  • Train and educate new and current employees in Electrophysiology Program.
  • Schedule procedures, maintain inventory, and participate in the ordering and maintenance of lab equipment.
  • Report and act on quality initiatives, follow compliance to departmental policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • 2 years Cath Lab/Electrophysiology Experience, 3 years providing care to patients within Cardiology.
  • Associate degree in Nursing or Radiologic Technology.
  • RCES certified and/or RCVT/RCIS Certified.
  • Ability to think logically and sequentially, coordinate care of the patient across the care continuum, and develop standards, training, and communicate effectively.
