We are seeking a highly skilled Case Manager Admissions and Denial Coordinator to join our team at Yuma Regional Medical Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth transition of patients through our hospital system.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure timely discharge planning and medication/order management for designated patients.
- Document patient information accurately and efficiently in electronic medical records (EMR).
- Manage referral forms, applications, and logs within the Case Management department.
- Handle Utilization Review and Management, Appeals, Denials, and Peer-to-Peer requests/set-up.
- Facilitate high-level communication with providers and staff.
- Conduct training for new hires on utilization management, documentation, and processes.
- BASIC LIFE SUPPORT (BLS) certification.
- REGISTERED NURSE (RN) licensure.
- ASSOCIATE'S DEGREE in a related field.
- 3+ years of related experience.
