Introduction

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate CT Technologist to join our team at HCA Florida Northside Hospital. As a CT Technologist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Select and operate the CT scanner to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Prepare patients for CT scans, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the process.
  • Position patients correctly and use auxiliary equipment as needed to obtain optimal images.
  • Document patient information, exam details, and image quality in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques to provide the best possible care.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology from an accredited institution.
  • Valid ARRT (CT) certification and active Florida Department of Health licensure (CRT).
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in diagnostic radiology, preferably in an acute-care hospital setting.
  • Ability to lift patients and equipment up to 100 pounds and stand for long periods.
