Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at UF Health. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for operating imaging equipment and performing diagnostic x-rays under the guidance of our physicians.

Key Responsibilities
  • Imaging Equipment Operation: Safely and effectively operate various imaging equipment, including x-ray machines, to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
  • Patient Preparation: Instruct and prepare patients for radiographic and fluoroscopic examinations, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process.
  • Image Quality Control: Ensure the quality of images presented to radiologists for interpretation, consulting with doctors to obtain optimal results.
  • Procedure Management: Complete assigned procedures in a timely manner, assisting in preparing the operating/procedure room for the next procedure.
  • Quality Assurance: Participate in quality control programs and follow protocols to maintain high standards of patient care and image quality.
Qualifications
  • Education: Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent diploma from an AMA-approved school.
  • Experience: 1 year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist preferred.
  • Certifications: Licensed Radiologic Technologist in Florida, American Registry of Radiological Technologist (ARRT), and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
