Position Overview:

The Facilities Operations Leader will serve as the primary contact responsible for overseeing facility management, supporting the Regional Manager and the Facility Management team in delivering exceptional facility management services through a dedicated team of Facilities Supervisors and Operating Engineers.

This role will coordinate and manage service delivery to ensure satisfaction among key stakeholders at designated facilities.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Regional Manager in executing facility management services for designated locations.
  • Design and implement innovative programs, processes, and procedures aimed at enhancing efficiency, reducing operational costs, and increasing productivity for assigned facilities.
  • Supervise Facilities Supervisors to guarantee the effective delivery of maintenance, repairs, and other facility management services.
  • Monitor and enhance stakeholder satisfaction for assigned facilities.
  • Achieve all Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for designated facilities.
  • Utilize data-driven decision-making to support resolution of issues and ensure high-quality facility management services.
  • Oversee the quality of facility management services, including the daily execution of third-party service contracts.
  • Manage the development and oversight of the detailed annual operating budget for assigned facilities.
  • Supervise the creation and management of capital budgets for designated facilities.
  • Ensure all equipment and work orders are accurately documented in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and that facility conditions are properly recorded and monitored.
  • Provide support, development, and management of facilities staff for assigned properties.
  • Act as the primary point of contact to address escalations from client site leadership and occupants.
  • Oversee the development and execution of the annual management plan.
  • Facilitate site governance meetings for assigned facilities.
  • Ensure performance of necessary monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting as required.
  • Perform any additional duties and tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Facilities Management with a focus on management.

A minimum of 8 years of industry experience is required, preferably in K-12, higher education, corporate environments, third-party service providers, or as a consultant.

Demonstrated ability to achieve results through others, showcasing strong organizational, management, supervisory, and interpersonal skills.

Proficient in leveraging business intelligence to enhance service delivery.

Knowledgeable in facility management services, real estate, accounting, and building systems.

Experience managing multiple sites, including both technical and administrative staff as well as key client stakeholders.

Excellent customer service, computer, managerial, verbal, and written communication skills.

Familiarity with CMMS, Microsoft Office applications, and building systems.

Ability to multitask and effectively organize responsibilities to meet facility goals and objectives.

Skilled in developing productive working relationships with key stakeholders and collaborating with client personnel and other third parties to enhance the experience of facility users.
