Job Title: Sales Growth Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Growth Specialist to join our team at Shamrock Foods Company. As a Sales Growth Specialist, you will be responsible for maximizing sales growth profitably by representing our products and services to restaurants, resorts, hotels, and other institutional establishments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospect and Build Relationships: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, build relationships with key decision-makers, and develop a territory to grow the customer base.
  • Grow Existing Customer Base: Maintain and grow the share of the customers' business by providing exceptional customer service, supporting menu engineering, and analyzing food costs to ensure waste reduction and improve customer profitability.
  • Impact Customer Success: Support customer success through market intelligence and industry trends, product demonstrations, and capabilities facilitation.
  • Share New Product Innovation: Utilize Shamrock resources to share new product innovation with customers and stay up-to-date on industry trends.
  • Build Multi-Level Relationships: Build relationships with customers at all levels, from chefs to owners, to understand their needs and provide solutions.
  • Keep Accounts Current: Optimize sales, service, and delivery, and collect past-due balances from customers.
  • Leverage Technology: Utilize technology to improve customer efficiency and drive customer experience enhancements.
  • Participate in Training: Participate in ongoing training to continuously develop skills and stay up-to-date on industry trends.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate or Bachelor's degree a plus.
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in culinary, restaurant operations, food service, or related experience preferred.
  • Previous Sales Experience: Previous successful sales experience a plus.
  • Driver's License: Current driver's license required.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Demonstrated expertise in problem-solving.
  • Technology Skills: Comfort using technology and analyzing customer data.
  • Industry Knowledge: Knowledgeable on industry trends.
  • Microsoft Office Skills: Expertise in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Flexibility: Must be flexible and willing to work the demands of the department, which may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Demands:

  • Accommodations: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
  • Lifting: Regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds; frequently lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.

Compensation: Starting compensation of $40,000-$100,000 per year based on achievement of performance goals, eventually transitioning to commission-basis.
