Role Overview:
The Advanced Practice Provider will demonstrate proficiency in the essential skills required to meet organizational standards, including fluency in English, both written and spoken.
All applicants must possess a valid, unrestricted license in a U.S. State, Territory, or Commonwealth, as well as citizenship in the United States.
Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) from an accredited institution is mandatory.
Candidates should have experience in primary care and hold an active certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA), with a minimum of five years of relevant experience within the last five years.All candidates will be screened against exclusion lists.
Patient Care Responsibilities:
Approximately 95% of the role will involve direct patient interactions.
The Advanced Practice Provider will manage clinic appointments, follow up on laboratory and imaging results, provide consultations via phone, and collaborate with nursing staff on patient cases.
Scope of Services:
The candidate will be responsible for delivering comprehensive Family Practice services, including assessment, diagnostic evaluations, and clinical interventions. This encompasses thorough patient evaluations, health history reviews, physical examinations, and educational outreach to patients.
Responsibilities include ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, recommending treatments or referrals as necessary.Documentation of patient encounters, including health assessments, treatment plans, and ongoing management, will be conducted using an electronic health record system, ensuring timely completion on the day of service.
