Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement scientific research projects, ensuring rigorous methodologies are applied.
  • Evaluate the potential application of diverse scientific principles to novel research inquiries.
  • Conduct specialized laboratory experiments, adhering to established protocols and procedures.
  • Manage sample collection and maintain comprehensive records of experimental data.
  • Prepare data for dissemination at scientific conferences and for publication in peer-reviewed journals.
  • Engage in additional tasks as assigned by the supervising researcher, including mandatory training sessions.

Qualifications:

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Demonstrated experience in rodent experimentation, including drug administration, brain histology, and behavioral assessments.
  • Strong foundation in relevant scientific disciplines.
  • Proficient in data analysis and interpretation.
  • Ability to secure and maintain a T1/Public Trust background clearance.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift materials weighing up to 10 lbs.
  • Capability to remain seated or standing at a workstation for extended periods.
  • This position is primarily laboratory-based.

Education:

  • 0-5 years of relevant experience is required.
