Quality Assurance Food Safety Specialist

Vaco is partnering with a client in the food production sector, seeking a committed Quality Assurance Food Safety Specialist to enhance their quality control team. As a Quality Assurance Food Safety Specialist, your key duties will focus on delivering administrative assistance to the team, which includes tasks such as receiving materials, conducting sampling, and ensuring compliance with food health and safety regulations.
This role presents an excellent temporary opportunity with a pay range of $20 to $21 per hour. The position requires an individual who is comfortable working in an office environment.
We are particularly interested in candidates who possess prior experience in food production, whether through academic training or practical experience. Proficiency in Spanish is crucial for effective communication in this position.

Job Responsibilities:
- Providing administrative support to the quality assurance team
- Material and sample collection
- Ensuring adherence to food health and safety standards
- A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Quality Assurance Food Safety Specialist
- Experience in the food production industry is required
- A Bachelor's Degree is preferred
- Bilingual in Spanish is highly preferred
