POSITION SUMMARY: The Quality Control Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality throughout the production process.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Supervise sanitation, production, packaging, and distribution operations in alignment with the Food Safety Program and HACCP protocols.
  2. Maintain accurate documentation of all procedures and processes.
  3. Conduct continuous visual inspections of the facility to identify potential hazards and maintenance needs.
  4. Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) across all departments and for all visitors.
  5. Manage the receipt and labeling of raw materials to ensure traceability.
  6. Develop and sustain comprehensive inspection reports.
  7. Guarantee adherence to federal and state regulations, as well as company standards.
  8. Oversee the calibration of quality control instruments.
  9. Perform inspections at every stage of the production cycle.
  10. Compile and maintain testing data for analytical review.
  11. Analyze data and prepare reports, highlighting any deviations from established standards.
  12. Identify opportunities for quality enhancement and implement innovative solutions.
  13. Communicate any quality or compliance issues promptly and effectively.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. A minimum of 3 years of experience in quality control within the food manufacturing sector.
  2. Proven ability to work autonomously with limited supervision.
  3. Exceptional organizational capabilities.
  4. Strong discipline with relevant experience in food processing.
  5. Familiarity with USDA and FDA regulatory frameworks.
  6. Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and quality regulatory standards.
  7. Understanding of food manufacturing processes.
  8. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  9. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, both spoken and written.
  10. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential.
