At UPS, we're looking for a talented Sales Account Executive to join our team in Richmond, VA. As a key member of our sales team, you'll be responsible for developing and managing a portfolio of customers in business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-consumer (B2C) within a specific geographical area.


**Job Summary**


The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of supply chain concepts and be able to analyze customers' current supply chain needs to create appropriate solutions. You'll also be responsible for introducing new products and services and expanding business opportunities within customer accounts.


**Responsibilities**


  • Develop and maintain a book of business (e.g., ground, air, international)
  • Introduce new products and services and expand business opportunities within customer accounts
  • Track sales performance to objectives
  • Monitor account statistics and qualify internal sales leads to identify opportunities and create an effective sales strategy
  • Utilize resources and account history to prepare for sales calls
  • Submit pricing requests and analyze price quotes
  • Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs), generate standard and customized reports and queries, access appropriate databases, and interpret and clarify data

**Requirements**


  • Bachelor's Degree (or internationally comparable degree)
  • Experience with Business to Business or Business to Consumer sales
  • Willing to travel, as required
  • Experience using Microsoft products
