We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Freight Dispatcher - Customer Service Representative to join our team at Iaisrr. As a key member of our Operations Center, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth movement of freight and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accurately input data, prepare documents, and maintain records of freight inventory, hazardous material documents, train list documents, and demurrage and interchange records.
  • Maintain accurate yard inventory and provide train and switch lists to train crews.
  • Provide timely and accurate movement information to customers and train crews.
  • Maintain accurate crew books, call crews, arrange cabs and hotel reservations, and perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • High School graduate or equivalent required; some college and/or railroad work experience preferred.
  • Prior knowledge in customer service, car movement, data entry, and waybilling preferred.
  • Must possess a current valid driver's license.
  • Working knowledge of computers and other office equipment.
  • Ability to use analytical/organizational skills in prioritizing work.
  • Ability to communicate effectively (verbally and writing) and establish good working relationships with co-workers, management, train crews, and customers.
  • Ability to learn and apply policies, procedures, and regulations required by Iaisrr and the federal government.
Working Conditions

The position involves working in an office setting and is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions or noise levels.
