Job Title: GPS Installer

Reports to: Equipment Technology Coordinator

Key Responsibilities:

Install and configure equipment monitoring devices in on- and off-road equipment and vehicles, including wheel loaders, excavators, backhoes, dozers, cranes, street sweepers, and other types of construction equipment. Additionally, install devices in CDL level vehicles such as Peterbilt, Kenworth, and Mack.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of verifiable experience as a light or heavy mechanic in the last 10 years.
  • Technical school a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive/equipment electrical theory and CAN-based communication systems.
  • Above-average computer skills, experience in MS Office platform.
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Record.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Able to pass a drug test and possible physical.

Work Environment:

This position can be based out of the greater Dallas or Houston area. Overnight travel, possibly up to three nights per week, is required. The territory this position covers is the entire state of Texas and may include travel to other states.
