Senior Accounting Manager

Ginosko Development Company is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accounting Manager to join our team. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for planning and directing accounting activities, supervising accounting staff, and ensuring the accuracy of our financial records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and ensure the accuracy of financial records, including general ledger and month-end reconciliations.
  • Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial reporting and tax returns.
  • Prepare or review and timely submit development and/or construction draws.
  • Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable, reviewing check requests and ensuring proper authorization/approval process.
  • Prepare or review budgets and variances, payroll, intercompany loans, and monitor cash balances and update cash projections.
  • Ensure policies and procedures are followed and update/improve policies and procedures as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in accounting or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in accounting, with at least 4 years in a supervisory capacity.
  • Previous experience working with diverse populations preferred.
  • Background in Affordable Housing and real estate preferred.
  • Valid Driver's License with acceptable driving record and Certificate of personal auto liability insurance.
