Caregiver Role at Sherwood Pines Memory Care
Sherwood Pines is a 16-bed memory care facility dedicated to providing compassionate and personalized care for individuals living with dementia. We are seeking a caring and dedicated Weekend Caregiver to join our team.
Responsibilities- Provide respectful, dignified, and compassionate care to residents, adhering to their individual service plans.
- Monitor residents' well-being, observing for changes in condition and promptly reporting any significant concerns.
- Respond effectively to emergency situations according to established protocols.
- Maintain a clean and organized environment by tidying resident rooms, common areas, and ensuring proper laundry practices.
- Assist residents with daily activities, including transfers, escorting, and personal care as needed.
- Document all care provided accurately and thoroughly in resident charts.
- Collaborate effectively with the nursing team by contributing to shift reports and care notes to ensure continuity of care.
- Administer medications under the supervision of a licensed nurse and following approved procedures.
- Report any suspected instances of resident abuse or misappropriation to the appropriate authorities.
- Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to established dress code guidelines.
Weekend Differential Available
This position offers an additional hourly rate for all weekend hours worked.
