Sherwood Pines Memory Care is a 16-bed memory care facility dedicated to providing a safe and supportive environment for our residents. We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Night Shift Caregiver to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Provide Personal Care: Assist residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, while maintaining their dignity and respect.
- Support Care Plans: Implement care plans as specified by the resident's service plan, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
- Monitor and Report Changes: Observe residents for changes in condition and report any significant changes to the nurse or administrator.
- Respond to Emergencies: Respond to emergencies according to current policies and procedures, ensuring the safety and well-being of residents and staff.
- Document Care: Accurately document care provided, including vital signs, medication administration, and any notable events.
- Collaborate with Team Members: Work collaboratively with other caregivers, nurses, and administrators to ensure continuity of care and effective communication.
- Adhere to Policies and Procedures: Follow established policies and procedures, including infection control, medication administration, and resident rights.
Requirements:
- Background Check: Pass a background check prior to employment.
- Training and Certification: Complete preservice dementia, preservice infection prevention, and caregiver training.
- Availability: Be available to work night shifts, including weekends and holidays.
