**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Caregiver to join our team at Sherwood Pines Memory Care. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Personal Care: Assist residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, while maintaining their dignity and respect.
- Support with Medication Administration: Administer medications as directed by the Administrator, ensuring accurate and timely administration.
- Engage in Activities and Socialization: Participate in activities and social events with residents, promoting their physical and emotional well-being.
- Monitor and Report Changes: Observe residents for changes in condition and report any significant changes to the Administrator or nurse.
- Maintain a Safe Environment: Ensure the facility is clean and safe, adhering to infection control and safety protocols.
- Document Care Provided: Accurately document care provided, including vital signs, medication administration, and any notable events.
- Collaborate with Team Members: Work collaboratively with other caregivers, nurses, and administrators to ensure seamless care and communication.
Requirements:
- Background Check: Pass a thorough background check and complete preservice dementia, infection prevention, and caregiver training.
- Compassion and Empathy: Demonstrate a genuine commitment to providing compassionate and empathetic care to residents.
- Flexibility: Be flexible and willing to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
