Resident Support Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Resident Support Specialist to join our caregiving team at CommonSail Investment Group. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the comfort, well-being, and happiness of our residents.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing personalized care and support to our residents, including bathing, dressing, feeding, and assisting with daily activities. You will also be expected to maintain accurate records, communicate effectively with residents, families, and colleagues, and contribute to a positive and respectful work environment.
Responsibilities:
* Provide exceptional care and support to residents, promoting their physical, emotional, and social well-being
* Assist with daily activities, such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and toileting
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including resident charts and care plans
* Communicate effectively with residents, families, and colleagues, ensuring seamless collaboration and coordination
* Contribute to a positive and respectful work environment, fostering a culture of empathy, kindness, and compassion
Requirements:
* High school diploma or equivalent required; experience in caregiving or a related field preferred
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build strong relationships with residents, families, and colleagues
* Ability to lift, push, and pull equipment and supplies as needed
* Strong organizational and time management skills, with ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities
* Compassionate and empathetic approach to caregiving, with commitment to resident-centered care
Benefits:
* Competitive salary: $28,000 - $33,000 per year
