About the RoleWe're seeking an experienced Quality of Life Specialist/Resident Care Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering high-quality care and a commitment to excellence.
In this role, you'll be responsible for assisting residents with medication administration, personal care, and daily living activities. You'll also provide emergency care within your scope of practice and report any unusual resident behavior or changes to the Director of Health Services and/or LPN-LVN-Care Partner.
Daily Responsibilities- Assist residents with medication administration assistance per individual Care Plan/ISP as directed by physician orders.
- Provide high-quality personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, shaving, incontinent care, foot care, vital signs, height, and weight checks per policy.
- Assist residents with mealtime, including cutting food and encouraging them to eat.
- Follow through with all assignments on a timely basis in accordance with the chain of command.
- Report any unusual resident behavior or changes to the Director of Health Services and/or LPN-LVN-Care Partner.
- Provide emergency care within your scope of practice.
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- A High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
- A QMA license (IN) required.
- One (1) year experience working as a CNA/PCA/HHA/RA preferred.
- One (1) year experience working in Assisted Living or Healthcare preferred.
