At Perham Health, we are committed to delivering exceptional care to our patients. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in our team, working closely with our current SLP to enhance services and meet the needs of our patients and community.
Key Responsibilities:- Evaluate and implement treatment plans in accordance with best practice and evidence-based standards, adhering to ASHA scope and standards of practice.
- Provide care for both long-term care residents and pediatric patients, adapting treatment approaches to meet their unique needs.
- Document patient evaluations, plans of care, and treatment provided, maintaining accurate records according to ASHA standards.
- Communicate effectively with healthcare providers, staff, and family members regarding patient care.
- Educate patients and establish effective home programs.
- Graduate of an accredited Speech Language Pathology program and licensed to practice in the State of Minnesota.
- Ability to treat pediatric, adult, and geriatric patient populations.
- Prefer pediatric, long-term care, and inpatient experience.
