Job Opportunity

Perham Health is seeking a passionate and driven Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in enhancing our program and providing high-quality care to our patients and community.

The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing care for both long-term care residents and pediatric patients, adapting treatment approaches to meet the unique needs of each population. You will also be responsible for evaluating, establishing, and implementing treatment plans in accordance with best practice and evidence-based practice within the scope and standards of the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and establish treatment plans for patients in accordance with ASHA standards.
  • Adapt treatment approaches to meet the unique needs of pediatric, adult, and geriatric patient populations.
  • Document patient care and treatment plans in accordance with ASHA standards.
  • Communicate with healthcare providers, staff, and family members regarding patient care.
  • Educate patients and establish effective home programs.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited Speech Language Pathology program.
  • Licensed to practice in the State of Minnesota.
  • Ability to treat pediatric, adult, and geriatric patient populations.
