Job Description

We are seeking a Regional Safety Manager to lead and manage the efforts to promote safe and compliant practices within our Corporate Health & Safety Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing safety expertise, risk recognition, and reduction skills to drive the goal of Zero Accidents or injuries through proactive, safe work practices.

Key Responsibilities

The Regional Safety Manager will be responsible for:
  • Maintaining current knowledge of safety trends and practices in the industry to adapt to changing safety environments
  • Identifying and implementing company best practices to create standards for continuous safety improvement
  • Managing safety regions to reduce or eliminate occupational injuries, illnesses, and deaths
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of safety training programs related to occupational injuries directly related to the construction/manufacturing industry
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of safety policies and procedures

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:
  • 5+ years of experience in OSHA/EPA/DOT regulations and safety administration in a trucking, construction, distribution, general industry, or warehousing environment
  • Proficient knowledge of OSHA & EPA Regulations, State and Federal laws, and proficient knowledge in all Microsoft Office Applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint

Travel Requirements

The Regional Safety Manager will be required to travel +/- 60% of the time to cover the Colorado and Utah territory.
