Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced GMS Application Engineer to join our team at United Global Technologies. As a key member of our Grid & Market Solutions Applications Engineering team, you will be responsible for supporting the development, testing, and implementation of Market Management Systems (MMS) applications portfolio.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide support for Market Management Systems (MMS) applications portfolio, including Security Constrained Economic Dispatch (SCED), Day-Ahead Market (DAM), Reliability Unit Commitment (RUC), Congestion Revenue Rights (CRR), and QSE Training Simulator.
  • Actively involved in the design, development, testing, validation, and implementation of modifications and enhancements to MMS applications.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree: Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field is required. Master's Degree is preferred. Experience with Hitachi ABB or any MMS vendors suite of applications, Data Historians such as OSIsoft PI, programming languages such as FORTRAN, C, C++, Java & Perl, PL/SQL, strong understanding of power systems, Energy Management Systems (EMS), and Market Management Systems (MMS).


Salary: $100,000 per year.
