About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Energy Market Management Systems Specialist to join our team at MWResource, Inc.

As a key member of our Market Applications Engineering support team, you will be responsible for providing expert-level support for our Market Management Systems (MMS) applications portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical expertise and support for MMS applications, including Security Constrained Economic Dispatch (SCED), Day-Ahead Market (DAM), Reliability Unit Commitment (RUC), Congestion Revenue Rights (CRR), and QSE Training Simulator.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, test, validate, and implement modifications and enhancements to MMS applications.
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair MMS applications and interfaces, escalating issues as necessary.
  • Participate in multifunctional teams to obtain input, address comments, and provide application support.
  • Represent the Market Applications Engineering Team at interdepartmental and stakeholder meetings.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A minimum of 5 years of job-related work experience in excess of degree requirements.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Experience with Hitachi ABB or any MMS vendors suite of applications.
  • Experience with Data Historians such as OSIsoft PI.
  • Experience with programming languages such as FORTRAN, C, C++, Java, & Perl.
  • Experience with PL/SQL.
