Job Summary

This role is responsible for providing exceptional patient service and support in various areas of the hospital, including tray line, host/hostess, cafeteria, deli, cashier, salad bar, and pizza stations. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure all stations are ready for operations, including accuracy, speed, and a sense of urgency.
  • Set up next shift for success, including daily cleaning of respective areas and enforcing a clean-as-you-go policy.
  • Hosts/hostesses are responsible for requesting two patient identifiers (date of birth and full name of patient) and assisting patients with opening items if required.
  • Restock condiment boxes, sanitize patient delivery carts, and perform other duties as assigned.
  • Daily cleaning tasks include starter stations, air-curtain refrigerators, host/hostess carts, ice cream freezers, beverage center, and other areas deemed necessary in patient services.
  • Restock and sanitize retail areas, including set-up and breakdown of stations, and ensure all equipment is dated and labeled.
  • Record temperatures daily, twice per day.
Requirements

A high school diploma or equivalent is required for this role. We are committed to providing our employees with the training and support needed to succeed in their positions.
