Position Overview
This role is situated within the CVS Health Enterprise Identity Services team, which oversees a substantial data platform designed to identify our customers across various engagement channels. - Proactively intervening to prevent performance disruptions.
- Recommending and spearheading engineering initiatives to enhance platform stability and resilience.
- Leading performance testing initiatives for new developments.
The ideal candidate will be adept at operating within our existing on-premise platform while transitioning focus to observability in a Google Cloud environment. Professional training will be provided to facilitate this transition. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in utilizing GCP and cloud-native tools for product development in the cloud.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 4-5 years of hands-on experience in application performance monitoring utilizing tools such as AppDynamics, Dynatrace, or Splunk.
- At least 3 years of experience with programming/scripting languages including C#, C++, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, PowerShell, and R, while staying updated with emerging trends.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in load and performance testing using industry-standard tools like Performance Center or LoadRunner.
- At least 2 years of experience with Jira or Rally for defect management.
- 2+ years of experience in an Agile development environment and familiarity with DevOps practices such as Continuous Integration (CI/CD).
- Certification in AppDynamics.
- Experience and certification in GCP.
- Strong analytical, decision-making, problem-solving, teamwork, and time management skills.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of addressing both technical and non-technical audiences across various organizational levels.
- Experience with Master Data Management (MDM) technologies and concepts.
- Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- One year of experience is required for each year of college degree not obtained, in addition to the required years of experience.
