Responsibilities

As a Field Service Engineer II, your primary duties will include surveying, installing, and commissioning In-building systems for various Wireless Service Providers (WSPs) and Enterprise clients.

Your additional responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting Structural Site Surveys at client locations and providing detailed reports to the Engineering Team.
  • Assisting with RF Benchmarking and troubleshooting Test Kit setups.
  • Facilitating and executing DAS Commissioning and Integration tasks across multiple WSPs.
  • Reporting to Management in your designated market.
  • Receiving assignments and deploying to various locations to install cellular, small cell, WiFi, and DAS equipment.

Required Skills:

  • Expertise in the installation of all Indoor Small Cell Products.
  • Proficiency in installing Nokia and Ericsson OEM Radio Equipment.
  • Experience with DAS OEM Manufacturer's Equipment.
  • Ability to install, connectorize, and test various sizes of coaxial and CAT 6 ethernet cables.
  • Capability to install and commission DC power plants.
  • Responsibility for the pick-up and management of cellular, DAS, WiFi, and small cell equipment.

Qualifications

About You:

  • You possess a proven track record of delivering high-quality work.
  • You enjoy solving complex problems and have a hands-on approach to your tasks.
  • A technical school diploma or an Associate's Degree in Engineering or Electronics is preferred, although a High School Diploma with relevant experience is acceptable.
  • You hold BISCI Credits and relevant certifications from Nokia, Ericsson, and DAS Manufacturers.
  • Prior field experience in technical roles related to mobility, DAS, WiFi, and small cell networks is advantageous.
  • You are knowledgeable in cabling systems, including RF, Electrical, DC Power, CAT5/6, T1 Copper, and Fiber.
  • Former military experience with a technical background is welcomed.
  • You can represent the company professionally and work reliably within scheduled maintenance windows.
  • You are willing to travel across the United States and are comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • You can work independently and collaboratively within a team to fulfill responsibilities and solve issues.
  • You are proficient in using computers and MS Office applications, possess a valid driver's license, and have OSHA 10/30 certification.
  • You are trained in First Aid, CPR, and AED.
