STUDENT SUPPORT SPECIALIST

Part-time role requiring 19.5 hours per week for a total of 178 contract days.

Key Responsibilities:

Facilitate learning by providing additional support to individual students or small groups across various subjects within a designated classroom. Assist in the development of educational materials and the execution of lesson plans. Support the implementation of behavior management strategies and perform routine clerical and supportive tasks for teaching staff.


Qualifications:
A combination of education and experience equivalent to: completion of high school and prior experience working with children in educational or structured settings.

Compensation:
Salary is determined according to the Education Support Professional Salary Schedule, starting at $25.72 per hour (salary placement is based on relevant experience).
