Electrical Systems Specialist

D&H United Fueling Solutions, a leading provider of petroleum services, is seeking an experienced Journeyman Electrician to join their team in the OKC area. The primary responsibilities of this role include assembling, installing, testing, and maintaining electrical or electronic equipment and fixtures used in the petroleum and EV Charging industry, adhering to accepted Best Practices while maintaining excellent safety standards.

Key duties include:

  • Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctioning systems or components using appropriate testing equipment to identify and correct failures.
  • Install conduits, pull wire, and make final connections to circuit breakers, petroleum pumps, dispensers, Point of Sale consoles, tank monitors, and petroleum lighting.
  • Inspect electrical systems and components to ensure compliance with safety requirements, codes, project specifications, and manufacturer requirements.
  • Verify proper operation of the electrical system.
  • Advise management, customers, and fellow workmen on hazards and electrical system safety.
  • Collaborate with the project estimator on material take-off, material cost, and labor allowances.
  • Utilize ammeters, voltmeters, thermal scanners, and cable testers to identify problems and ensure components are functioning correctly.
  • Operate commonly used hand and power tools, including screwdrivers, wire strippers, drills, saws, and conduit benders, to run and protect wiring.
  • Be willing to travel and work out of town.

Requirements for this position include:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least one year of Journeyman Electrician experience.
  • Knowledge of the National Electrical Code.
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Strong communication and customer relations skills.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • A good work ethic.
  • Knowledge of Class 1, Division 1 wiring is a plus.
  • A strong industrial background is a plus.
