We are seeking an experienced Electrical Controls Systems Manager to lead our team of Controls Engineers in designing and developing electrical control systems for industrial equipment and machinery. Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor a team of Controls Engineers in designing and developing electrical control systems.
  • Collaborate with senior management and Manufacturing Applications Engineer to define project scopes, timelines, and resource allocation.
  • Oversee troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of all production machinery electrical control systems.
  • Manage projects involving 0-600 VAC and VDC, single phase and three phase systems.
  • Supervise and coordinate panel building, wiring, and all aspects of machinery electrical control systems.
  • Guide team in PLC programming, ensuring proficiency in ladder logic across multiple platforms.
  • Oversee configuration of automation equipment such as PLC's, VFD's, HMI's, Servo's, etc.
  • Manage integration of both legacy and modern communication protocols.
  • Lead implementation and maintenance of Inductive Automation Ignition SCADA systems.
  • Oversee use of AutoCAD and AutoCAD Electrical for project documentation.
  • Direct research and specification of components for electrical equipment and systems.
  • Develop and implement department standards, best practices, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in controls engineering with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Advanced proficiency in Windows software, Microsoft Office suite, drafting software (AutoCAD), SCADA software, and various electrical component programming software packages.
  • Familiarity with project management and collaboration tools.
