Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Activities Coordinator to join our team at SR COMPANIES LLC. As an Activities Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning, developing, and implementing engaging activities that promote the physical and emotional well-being of our residents.

About the Role
  • Develop and implement a monthly activity calendar that caters to diverse interests and abilities.
  • Interact with residents, families, and staff in a professional and empathetic manner, fostering a sense of community and social connection.
  • Coordinate special events, outings, and shopping trips, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants.
  • Supervise volunteers, provide training, and coordinate their activities to enhance the overall resident experience.
Responsibilities
  1. Create and maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment for residents, adhering to established standards and protocols.
  2. Provide support and guidance to staff, promoting a culture of teamwork and collaboration.
  3. Act as a facilitator and take minutes at resident council meetings, ensuring effective communication and problem-solving.
  4. Respond promptly to resident requests, providing assistance and resolving concerns in a timely and courteous manner.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; 1-2 years of experience in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
  • Ability to read, write, and interpret documents, including safety protocols and procedure manuals.
