Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve food to residents within scheduled time frames, ensuring high-quality presentation and timely delivery.
  • Follow menu cycles, noting changes or substitutions made, to maintain consistency and accuracy.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of food service areas, including the kitchen and dining room, to ensure a safe and healthy environment.
  • Monitor and maintain the quality of food served, quantity prepared, and sanitation of food preparation areas to meet our high standards.
  • Ensure a clean, neat, and safe working environment, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with residents, understanding their food preferences and needs, and communicating effectively with the team to ensure their satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate records of meal service, including staff, resident, and guest meals, to ensure accountability and compliance.
  • Identify and report any issues or concerns related to food service, resident needs, or safety protocols to the Dining Services Director.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in resident status, needs, or preferences, and communicate effectively with the team to ensure seamless service.
  • Adhere to all work, safety, and administrative rules, as well as established policies and procedures, to maintain a positive and productive work environment.

Requirements:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • A full criminal background check, fingerprinting, physical, drug test, and TB testing are mandatory for this position.
