OVERVIEW

Native Pet is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to join the operations team. This is a unique opportunity to scale our operational capabilities in support of our fast-growing brand.


The Supply Chain Manager will help manage co-manufacturing relationships from ensuring raw material deliveries through delivery of products to our warehouse. This individual will play a key role in Native Pet’s growth and overall business goals, and it’ll be critical that the individual is an effective communicator (written and verbal), very well organized, and works well on a team.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Co-Man Management: oversee and manage key co-manufacturing relationships (e.g., scheduling, capacity planning, production issues, quality adherence, product R&D efforts, documentation, etc.)
  • Supply Chain Management: coordinate with procurement to ensure smooth production schedule, quickly adapt to the ever-changing supply dynamics, and proactively communicate weekly production statuses
  • Supply Chain Performance: track supply chain performance and areas for improvement, provide regular reports and updates to management on supply chain activities, and analyze data to make informed decisions and recommendations.
  • OTIF Program: manage on-time and in-full (OTIF) program to maintain stock levels and reduce out-of-stock situations, and proactively communicate performance with our partners
  • SOP Management: ensure ongoing co-manufacturer compliance with our agreed upon standard operating procedures
  • Vendor Onboarding: support the onboarding and management of new suppliers and co-manufacturers.
  • Quality Support: support quality team in collecting production documents, retains, lot code data, etc.
  • Logistics Support: collaborate with logistics partners to ensure smooth transportation and delivery of goods.
  • R&D Support: coordinate new product development efforts at our manufacturing partners’ sites
  • Special Projects: participate in cross-functional projects that drive strategic initiatives and operational improvements

  • 3-5 years experience in supply chain management, procurement, or co-manufacturing management
