Essential Job Functions:

  • Originate, underwrite, and close commercial loans
  • Actively prospect and market to potential new clients
  • Analyze credit risk and make informed lending decisions
  • Monitor and manage existing loan portfolios
  • Stay up-to-date on market conditions and identify new business opportunities

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in commercial lending
  • Strong knowledge of financial analysis and underwriting principles
  • Prior experience as a loan underwriter or credit analyst is mandatory
  • Prior experience in preparation of loan memorandums for credit committee approval is also mandatory
  • Formal Credit Training in your background is desirable
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven track record of achieving loan production goals
  • Familiarity with lending regulations and compliance standards
