Job Summary:

The Business Development Strategy Lead is responsible for overseeing business development and strategy goals for an assigned territory and serving as the Strategy Lead in a nursing center.

This individual provides support and guidance on processes and activities that can positively position nursing centers within the community and catalyze census growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provides leadership support and supervision of all POD business development strategies.
  • Organizes nursing center sales and marketing resources around market dynamics, referral sources, decision-makers, and influencers.
  • Responsible and accountable for meeting and exceeding occupancy and census revenue goals.
  • Works with business development team members and nursing center leadership to continuously improve systems that directly impact occupancy.
  • Provides support, coaching, and proactive management of the business development team members to enhance performance, encourages sister nursing facility collaboration, and offers talent development for all business development representatives.

Requirements:

  • Able to develop relationships with C-Suite personnel in primary referral source accounts.
  • Committed to the success of each nursing center and the market level team as a servant leader.
  • Thrives in ever-changing environments and fosters respect when on-site in market nursing centers.
  • Possesses exemplary social and communication skills and is open to feedback.
  • Demonstrates the ability to understand and absorb new information rapidly.
  • Identifies and reacts to opportunities and threats with clarity.
  • Builds and maintains trusting relationships with associates, customers, and market stakeholders.

  • Enthusiastic and dedicated advocate for seniors who will support and appreciate the nursing center's person-centered approach, mission, vision, and values.
  • Extensive knowledge of business development practices and techniques.
  • Capable of multi-tasking and working closely with multiple nursing centers at the same time.
  • Able to be accurate, concise, and detail-oriented.
  • Adept at hiring talent to the organization.
