Operations Director

The Director of Internal Operations will be responsible for overseeing all internal facing functions, ensuring the organization has the necessary resources to support its mission. This role will coordinate and perform a diverse set of support tasks, including contract management, project management, financial and administrative services, network operations, and outside plant maintenance.
Key Responsibilities- Contract Management: Prepare, negotiate, analyze, and review contracts for equipment, supplies, materials, services, and products. Monitor contract compliance and recommend corrective action for non-compliance.
- Project Management: Function as project management officer and oversee project management. Ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Financial and Administrative Services: Work with staff to manage company financials, oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable, manage human resources and benefits, and manage organizational correspondence.
- Network Operations: Oversee Network Operations Center and inside plant maintenance and operation. Ensure proper NOC staff are in place, trained, and proficient.
- Outside Plant: Oversee outside plant maintenance and operation. Ensure proper outside plant staff are in place, trained, and proficient.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred.
- Seven years of related experience required, with prior management experience preferred.
- Fiber optic broadband experience preferred.
- Strong MS Office Suite skills.
- Reliable transportation for getting to work.
This job operates in a professional office environment. The role requires occasional travel throughout the company's service territory and occasional travel outside of the territory.
