Job Description

About the Role:

The National Guard Employment Network is seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Experience Ambassador to join our team. As a key member of our community, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional resident services and ensuring a seamless experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personalized support to residents, addressing their inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Act as the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a warm and welcoming experience.
  • Manage building access, including key system technology, to maintain a secure and convenient environment.
  • Assist with administrative duties, such as light copying and package management, as needed.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Services, General Manager, and other team members to increase resident satisfaction and retention.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships among building staff.
  • Perform other related duties and assignments as needed and assigned.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
  • A minimum of one year of experience working in hospitality or customer service industry required.
  • Multifamily experience preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with residents, guests, team, management, and third-party vendors.
  • Computer savvy with the capacity to learn and master multiple software systems.
  • Ability to analyze, organize, prioritize, and follow up with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Active listening skills, strong attention to detail, and strong organizational skills when responding to inquiries and requests.
  • Proactive decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to diffuse and respond to customer concerns to avoid escalation of the problem.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Work Environment:

The Experience Ambassador will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, interacting with residents, guests, and team members on a daily basis. The ideal candidate will be able to perform the following activities with or without reasonable accommodation to be successful in the role:

  • Stand behind a desk for the majority of an 8-hour shift.
  • Move body in repetitive motions for extended periods of time.
  • Work in a space that includes indoor and outdoor spaces, with and without covering.
  • Move throughout the property as needed.
  • Transport boxes and equipment weighing up to 20 pounds.
  • Communicate with other persons in the building.
  • Observe details in surrounding areas and on a screen.
