Key Responsibilities- Transportation Services: Safely transport residents to and from medical appointments and activities, adhering to all laws and regulations.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service and friendly interactions with all passengers, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Complete pre-inspections before use of vehicle, clean van daily, and perform regular maintenance tasks.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with residents, staff, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth transportation operations.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with other staff members to ensure seamless transportation services and support the overall mission of Crestmoor Health and Rehabilitation Center LLC.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: Prior experience in healthcare or geriatrics preferred but not necessary.
- Skills: Excellent communication and customer service skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a valid, unrestricted Colorado driver's license.
As a Transportation Coordinator, you will work primarily in a vehicle and throughout the facility, interacting with residents, staff, and other stakeholders. You will be subject to hostile and emotionally upset residents, family members, and staff, and may be required to work beyond normal duty hours, on weekends, and during emergency situations.
Physical and Sensory Requirements- Physical Demands: Ability to sit, stand, bend, lift, push, pull, stoop, walk, and move intermittently during working hours, and lift 50 lbs floor to waist, lift 10 lbs waist to shoulder, lift and carry 50 lbs, and push/pull 50 lbs.
- Sensory Requirements: Ability to relate to and work with ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset, and at times hostile people within the facility.
