Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team at Soliant Healthcare. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional speech-language therapy services to students, ensuring compliance with all local and state regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Comprehensive Evaluations: Conduct thorough evaluations to diagnose speech and language disorders in students.
  • Develop Individualized Treatment Plans: Create and implement tailored treatment plans based on assessment results to enhance communication skills.
  • Deliver Direct Therapy: Provide direct speech-language therapy to students, focusing on improving communication skills.
  • Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' educational and social development.
  • Maintain Accurate Records: Keep detailed and accurate records of assessments, therapy sessions, and progress.
  • Participate in IEP Meetings: Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
  • Stay Current with Best Practices: Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in speech-language pathology.
Requirements
  • Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology: Possess a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Valid State Licensure: Hold valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • ASHA Certification: Be certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Experience in School Settings: Have experience working in school settings, preferably.
  • Knowledge of Local and State Guidelines: Possess in-depth knowledge of local and state guidelines for speech-language therapy in educational environments.
