Job Summary:

Soliant is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in an elementary school setting in Livonia, MI. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for assessing students referred for possible speech and language needs, providing individual and/or group therapy sessions, and developing individualized education plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessment and Therapy: Conduct comprehensive assessments of students referred for speech and language concerns, and provide individual and/or group therapy sessions to address identified needs.
  • Individualized Education Plans (IEPs): Develop and implement IEPs for students with identified speech and language disorders, and present them to parents, school administrators, and other stakeholders.
  • Consultation and Collaboration: Consult with teachers, counselors, parents, nurses, and administrators on speech and language concerns, and provide guidance on strategies to support students with speech and language needs.
  • Record Keeping and Reporting: Maintain accurate records for all students on your caseload, and provide regular progress reports to parents.
  • Caseload Management: Organize and manage your student caseload, and develop a schedule for each assigned school.

Requirements:

  • Michigan SLP License: Possess a valid Michigan Speech-Language Pathology license, issued by the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs (LARA).
