About the Role

Tetra Tech is seeking a highly skilled Architect to join our High Performance Buildings Division. As a key member of our team, you will support our architecture and engineering projects and services, working on facility design projects locally and occasionally worldwide.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and collaborate on architectural and multi-discipline design teams, including building design, space planning, code review, building envelope design, sustainability, and detailing for construction documents.
  • Interact with clients and multi-discipline teams in design charrette work sessions.
  • Perform product research, assist project leadership with materials and system evaluations for sustainability, constructability, and value to the client.
  • Utilize modeling software such as Revit to produce technical drawings with minimal assistance.
  • Develop BIM management plans and lead the BIM efforts for projects.
  • Perform various construction administrative activities such as reviewing submittals and shop drawings.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in architecture.
  • 8+ years of experience as a Design or Project Architect.
  • 4+ years of U.S. Federal or DoD consulting experience.
  • Possess functional BIM management skills and advanced knowledge of the use of Revit software for project production and design.
  • Experience in specifications writing using SpecsIntact and MasterSpecs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A valid driver's license, and ability to travel to clients offices and project sites if required.
  • Ability to do 10% travel.
  • Must be U.S. Citizen.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Architectural Registration preferred.
  • Experience or interest in sustainable design desired.

This role can be performed from a wide range of locations throughout the US. The pay range for this position is between $85,000 - $110,000; however, base pay offered may vary depending on primary work location, job-related knowledge, skills, experience and internal parity. A full range of benefits are offered, to include 401K, paid time off, dental, medical, vision, disability, and life insurance options.
