About the Role

Clark Nexsen is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Architect to join our team. As a key member of our Federal Architecture team, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects for the Department of Defense and other government agencies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with project teams to develop design concepts, create detailed drawings, and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Participate in the bidding and construction administration of projects, including jobsite visits and review of submittals.
  • Mentor junior design staff and contribute to office activities and initiatives.
Requirements
  • Professional degree from an NAAB-accredited Architecture program.
  • 8 or more years of professional experience, with a strong background in Federal architecture.
  • Fully licensed Architect in at least one US state.
  • Experience with United Facilities Criteria (UFC) and design of Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIFs) and spaces with Radio Frequency (RF) shielding.
  • Ability to gain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
  • US Citizenship is required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • LEED AP, WELL, or Green Globes accreditation.
  • Proficient use of Revit and experience with 3D modeling, visualization, and graphics software.
  • Excellent graphic, drawing, and presentation capabilities.
