Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain vigilant observation of guests within the facility; respond promptly and effectively to ensure the safety of all patrons during emergencies.
  • Communicate facility rules to guests in a fair and consistent manner.
  • Provide emergency care and treatment as necessary until professional medical assistance arrives.
  • Ensure that medical services are contacted appropriately in case of emergencies.
  • Participate in cross-training for various roles and fill in as needed.
  • Assist with cleaning and maintenance tasks as required during your shift.
  • Deliver an exceptional experience to our students, families, and fellow team members.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Ability to work effectively with children.
  • Strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills.
  • Must successfully complete background checks (included with training).
  • Experience as an instructor, coach, camp counselor, or childcare provider is advantageous.
  • High School Diploma or GED is required; some college education is preferred.
  • Lifeguard, CPR/AED, and First Aid certifications are required. For those who are not certified, Goldfish Swim School offers certification courses that must be completed within three months of employment.
