Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Principal Construction Engineer to join our team at Northrop Grumman. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for managing various facilities-related projects from conception to completion. Your expertise in construction management, engineering, and project coordination will ensure that our projects meet all technical specifications, budgetary constraints, and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop project scopes, timelines, and budgets with end-users and stakeholders.
- Plan, coordinate, and manage all aspects of facilities projects, including design, renovations, relocations, and new construction to meet end-users objectives.
- Lead project teams, including architects, contractors, and engineers, ensuring clear communication and coordination.
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful completion.
- Ensure all projects comply with local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's Degree in Facilities Management and Planning, Architecture, Interior Design, Facilities Engineering, Construction Management, or other related field with five (5) years of related management experience, OR a Master's degree with three (3) years of related experience OR nine (9) years of facilities/construction project experience will be considered in lieu of a Bachelor's degree.
- Proven track record of managing facilities projects from inception to completion.
- Strong knowledge of building systems, engineering, and construction methods.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., AutoCAD).
