Job Overview
A faculty member in the Department of Plant and Soil Sciences is looking for a part-time student assistant to aid in various technical projects. The responsibilities include:

  1. Developing software code for a web-based fertilizer prescription map utilizing Python algorithms.
  2. Creating 3D models of soil monoliths using AgiSoft or similar software.
  3. Building machine and deep learning models for pasture data analysis with YOLOv8.

Instruction and guidance will be provided for the latter two tasks to ensure successful project execution. This position is expected to require around 10 hours of work per week, with most days and times being adaptable.
