Job Summary

The Operations Support Specialist at Green Power Energy will report directly to the VP of Operations in our Durham, CT office. This role is responsible for coordinating solar and solar + storage project approvals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Field Operations in CT by preparing job folders and project permits.
  • Coordinate installation schedules with customers over the phone.
  • Review and order project materials lists and coordinate deliveries.
  • Maintain schedules and assist staff as needed.
  • Assist with permit applications and scheduling of final inspections.
  • Organize office supplies and maintain a clean workspace.
  • Provide support to associate requests as needed.
  • Maintain the company's CRM by entering notes and schedules into the database.
  • Assist with special project paperwork and receive mail and deliveries.
  • Manage phone calls and greet outside guests professionally.

Requirements

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Motivated and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to interact with others within a team setting.
  • Ability to take direction, identify problems, develop solutions, and conduct analysis independently and collaboratively.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and prioritize projects.
