We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Licensed Counselor to join our team at Arizona Behavioral Counseling and Education, Inc.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will provide both in-person and telehealth counseling services, offering support to individuals and groups dealing with anxiety, depression, PTSD, and other mental health issues, as well as court-mandated counseling and psychoeducation.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct individual and group therapy sessions for clients with a variety of mental health concerns.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans.
  • Provide support and counseling for anxiety, depression, PTSD, and other mental health issues.
  • Facilitate psychoeducation group sessions focusing on positive alternatives, anger management, substance use treatment, DUI education, domestic violence, and court-mandated counseling.
  • Conduct screening assessments and intake orientations.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions and progress.
  • Collaborate with other counselors and staff to ensure comprehensive client care.
  • Participate in case management and administrative tasks as needed.
  • Adhere to all facility and licensing standards.
Qualifications
  • Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or equivalent in the state of Arizona.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in counseling, with a focus on anxiety, depression, PTSD, and general mental health issues.
  • Experience in both individual and group therapy settings.
  • Proficiency with telehealth platforms and comfortable conducting virtual sessions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
