Job Description

The Manager of CICC is responsible for overseeing the efficient and effective operations of the Client Intake and Conflict Control (CICC) department. This includes managing the daily activities of the CICC staff, supervising the intake and conflicts processes, and ensuring compliance with firm policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the CICC Supervisor, Conflicts Systems and Data Supervisor, and other staff members, and indirectly oversee the day-to-day activities of additional personnel.
  • Oversee the hiring and training of new staff, performance evaluations, and staff personnel supervision.
  • Provide outstanding customer service, offering insight-driven recommendations to internal clients.
  • Process conflicts reports and new matter forms, monitor department workflow, and ensure accurate and timely results.
  • Organize and lead staff meetings, assist in resolving conflicts issues, and perform quality control to ensure compliance with firm policies and procedures.
  • Work closely with senior CICC personnel to develop improved department processes and identify process inefficiencies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Three to five years of experience managing a conflicts, risk-management or similar function at a large law firm or similar organization.
  • Five to seven years of experience working in a conflicts, risk management, or similar function at a large law firm or similar organization.
