Position Overview

We are currently seeking a Bilingual Spanish Medical Office Coordinator to join our team. This role is essential in providing administrative support within a medical environment, ensuring smooth operations and excellent patient interactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcoming patients in a friendly and efficient manner.
  • Managing patient check-in and check-out processes for various medical procedures.
  • Utilizing electronic medical records (EMR) systems to establish provider documentation and digitize medical records, including insurance cards and identification.
  • Ensuring registration forms are accurately completed and gathering necessary information from referring and primary care physicians.
  • Collecting applicable patient payments, including co-payments and outstanding balances, and accurately posting these transactions.
  • Assisting patients with inquiries regarding their account balances and facilitating payment collection as needed.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized reception area, including the replenishment of business materials.

Qualifications:

  • Fluency in both Spanish and English is required.
  • Ability to travel as needed for work-related purposes.
  • A minimum of one year of experience in a medical office setting as a Medical Receptionist or Medical Secretary is preferred.
